Mr. Fernando has over 25 years of leadership in software development, project management, and operations. His expertise spans strategic planning, team leadership, and optimizing company resources. He has a proven track record of managing software development teams and offshore resources while implementing policies that ensure smooth operations. His focus on introducing new technologies has kept his companies at the forefront of the IT industry.

Known for his cross-cultural competence, Mr. Fernando excels in leading diverse teams and navigating global business challenges with diplomacy. His financial acumen and strategic problem-solving skills enable him to optimize budgets and align resources with business objectives, driving long-term growth and success.

Prior to joining Ontash, Mr. Fernando spent ten years with the City of New York Human Resources Administration’s BEGIN Managed Programs, serving as Senior Director for seven years. During this time, he managed multiple programs and administrative units, receiving recognition for his contributions and effective project management.

Mr. Fernando is also highly skilled in technological proficiency, consistently adopting cutting-edge solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. His adaptability allows him to respond quickly to industry changes, ensuring his teams remain competitive and agile.

He holds a Master’s degree in Administration and a BSc in Business from the State University of New York. Mr. Fernando is an A+ Certified Technician, Certified Entrepreneur, and has a Diploma in Computer System Design. He also holds certifications in Managing Change, Delegation Essentials, Cross-Cultural Communication, and Diplomacy and Tact. Featured in Who’s Who Among American Universities, he is a member of both the Omicron Delta Kappa national leadership honor society and the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society.
